Bothar

Activities

Bóthar is the international aid agency that provides poverty stricken families with the means to solve their problems – permanently. Bóthar does this by using livestock in development aid. It assists poverty stricken families to overcome hunger, malnutrition and poverty in a simple, sustainable manner.

Every year, we help to raise money for Bóthar. We sell cakes, buns and sweets for one euro or less and we bring toys and board games. This money helps to give cattle, chickens, sheep and goats to families in poor countries. So they can make milk, cheese, eggs and grow crops. The animals also give birth to young so they can be passed on to other families. Bóthar also sends Rabbits, Camels, Fish, Guinea Fowl, bees and Christmas trees.
