Carrig National School

Every year our school has a sports day. First to sixth do one big sports day together. The First to sixth are split up into 6 or 7 different groups with an even number of each class on each team. The teachers all have lots of fun helping the children do their activities. The main idea is to have as much fun as possible. Each teacher has a different station to work at. Each team has a clipboard. Each teacher gives a point. Some pupils who used to go to Carrig N.S. come back to help out.
The junior and senior infants have their own sports day by themselves on the same day, which involves sack races, relay races, running races, potato and spoon races and other activities.
