School Performances & Nativity Plays

Carrig National School has a proud and long-standing tradition of school performances and Nativity plays. Each year, as Christmas approaches, our school community comes together to celebrate the festive season through music, drama and storytelling.

From the delightful Nativity plays in our infant classrooms to the larger-scale musical productions performed by our senior classes, these performances are a highlight of the school year. Our youngest pupils take their first steps onto the stage, proudly retelling the Christmas story, while our older students showcase their talents through acting, singing, dancing and musical performance.

These productions are about much more than entertainment. They play an important role in building confidence, developing communication skills and encouraging creativity. Pupils learn the value of teamwork, commitment and supporting one another, all while experiencing the joy of performing in front of family and friends.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and effort shown by our students each year. Our Christmas performances are a special tradition at Carrig National School — one that creates lasting memories for children, staff and families alike.
